Naming Wires

Wire labels are generated and displayed in AnadigmDesigner®2 by default. These labels in no way affect the functionality of the wire, but are available for users to label their circuits.

By default, new wires will be numbered consecutively in the form n1, n2, n3, etc… Wire names must be unique. To change a wire label, simply click on the label, and type in your new label. If the label is already in use, the wire will revert to it’s original label, and the application will beep a warning.

Wire label fonts can be customized through their own right-click context menu, as well as through the user wire preferences available from the preferences option of the settings menu. Wire labels can also be hidden from view from the wires preferences as well as the right-click context menu of the wire, or the label itself.

Wire labels can also be placed anywhere next to the wire, or wires that they are associated with. To move a wire label, select it with the left mouse button, and drag it to a new location. The label will only drag next to the wires it is associated with.
