Piecewise Linear Signal File (*.csv, *.txt)

Select a text or comma separated value file to describe the signal generator’s output:

These text files are piece-wise linear descriptions of a waveform, and should follow the following structure and rules:

·Any line that begins with a non-numeric value will be ignored (useful for comments)

·A valid data line will contain two numeric values, separated by comma, tab, or other white space.

·The first value will be read in as time (in seconds) the second as a voltage value (in volts).

·Each line must contain a time value greater than the previous line.

·The signal generator will make a linear interpolation of the output between each data point.

·The signal generator will repeat the last voltage value entered for times past that description.
